Summary of Activities From Ruth And Boaz June Conference

Saturday, the 20th of June, 2015 is a day many Lagosians will not forget in a hurry because of the heavy rainfall in many parts of the state which caused a lot of flooding and obstruction of activities.
However, the opposite was the case at the much anticipated Ruth and Boaz conference as people defied the downpour and turned up en masse, to have their date with destiny.
God really proved Himself faithful as always which coincidentally was the theme of the conference which was tagged ‘God Is Faithful’
The Ruth and Boaz Fellowship is an interdenominational ministry of the Fountain of Life Church, geared towards matured singles, single parents, divorcees, widows and widowers. They hold conferences every quarter which is always a rallying point for people in this category to come together and have fun amidst worship, praise and ministration from Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church.
This particular June edition of the Ruth and Boaz conference was really exceptional because asides the huge turnout of people, a lot was shared from the beginning of the event till the end.
Many testimonies were shared by different people on how the Ruth and Boaz fellowship helped them, ranging from accommodation issues to school fees issues and even empowerment issues which led them to eventually be able to stand on their own and support themselves.
It was also an opportunity to celebrate Pastor Taiwo Odukoya who turned a year older just a few days prior to the event and it was done in grand style. A beautiful cake of Bibles was wheeled into the auditorium and people representing different churches including Baptist, Methodist, Anglican, Catholic and other new generation churches were on hand to give him gifts.
This was a very meaningful demonstration to re-emplasise the fact that the Ruth and Boaz Fellowship is an interdenominational one open to members from any church and not limited to the Fountain of Life Church alone.
By the time the word of the day came from Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, it was indeed the icing on the cake as he re-emphasized the fact that it is not in God’s character to be unfaithful. He also enjoined the people to ask for the Grace to trust God more no matter the circumstances while stressing that God has already secured our future and one should NEVER put a limit on what God can do.
