MUSIC MAESTRO EMMYKOKZ UNVEILS OFFICIAL ART COVER FOR NEW SINGLE ‘SOMETHING’ AND DROPS A HINT ON THE SINGLE

As we anticipate the official release of the single ‘something’, Music Maestro, popularly known as Emmykokz officially unveils the cover art. This is in a bid to keep his fans in close contact to the update of his works.

The single, SOMETHING takes an easy blend of worship with an easy going lyrically that one might sing along to. The title alone throws in a lot of surprises, suspense and expectations. The song is about thanksgiving, praise and appreciation to God. It explains how incomprehensibly mighty Gods love is for us bringing one to a point of realizing we owe God thanks.

In his words, ‘The music to me takes a self-reflexive angle one that makes one sit back and think about how wonderful God has been. Most times we fail to reflect on this and I believe with this song, it might draw one into such act since the year is almost coming to an end. We definitely need to see reasons to be grateful to God. For me, the simplicity of the song was so much important as would love to have everyone sing along to the song as they reflect and see reasons to give gratitude to God. For me, I am so much grateful to God and taking a reflexive stand to see how much he has been faithful to me, my family, friends and loved ones gave birth to this song. What are you grateful for? I am grateful for a whole lot of things… I pray this song triggers your need to be grateful.’

The single is set to drop this month. Wait for it.

New Video: Glowreeyah Braimah – Exalted

‘Exalted’ by Glowreeyah Braimah was released as a single in March 2018. The video was shot at the picturesque Northala Fields and Oxford Street in England in late 2017.

The song was inspired by an everyday occurrence-a beautiful Sunset.

According to Glowreeyah;

“While I was driving one Saturday evening, I spontaneously started singing ‘Oh my soul, you must rise and see your God exalted’. A wave of ecstatic joy hit me on the spot. I parked my car and right in front of me, I saw the sun setting in the horizon. I got out of my car and lifted my hands out there in the parking lot of the mall.

“The revelation of the moment for me was simple. That sunset showed me that even though the sun in all its glory was going down that evening, it would surely be set to rise the following morning.

“I knew at that moment the purpose of the song.

“Our souls are the spark of God in us. Without the soul, our bodies are like light-bulbs without electricity; like computers without the software. And even when we have setting moments like the Sun, we must be able to rise again and again and again.

“Our souls carry the life of God. According to the second line in the song, ‘His Spirit-Air is all we breathe’.

“Our living souls must reflect life, sight and hearing thought and speech, intelligence and emotions, will and desire, personality and identity.

“When your soul is downcast, it loses its essence: Its raison d’être. It’s reason for living.

“Don’t let the troubles of this world, the biased opinions of men, the vicissitudes of life, heartbreak, depression and all kinds of ‘wahala’ rob you of your life, your purpose, your God-spark.

“Take charge! Command your soul to rise and worship. To see your faithful God exalted as the good God who loves you in spite of what your senses are telling you today.

“Because the more we exalt Him, the more He is magnified as ‘THE SON’ that never sets in our horizon.

“‘Jesus forever, Jesus exalted – The King of our days'”
