Evangelist Nick Vujicic often speaks to massive crowds of people. Recently, he and his team reported that 400,000 people gave their lives to Christ at an event in Ukraine.

Vujicic was born without arms or legs, but that hasn’t stopped him from being involved in an influential ministry, which is called Life Without Limbs.

According to The Christian Post, Vujicic recently held an event in Ukraine and afterward posted a message on Facebook about its abundant success:

“The biggest event that our team at Life Without Limbs has seen and maybe the largest event ever in Europe – 800,000 people in the streets of Kyiv Ukraine! Thank you God,” he posted.

“400,000 repented of their sins and began their spiritual journey with Jesus – Now LWL celebrates the witness of 1 million decisions to walk with and trust God in everything face to face,” he added.

Vujicic also shared that he was in Russia for part of his European evangelism tour. “In Russia for 40 hours. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to meet the President this trip but we continue to plant seeds of love and hope across this country until some unique doors open to share – thank you for your support!”

Joe Biden Blasphemes Name of Christ while Defending Homosexuality

Vice President Joe Biden reportedly blasphemed the name of Christ last Friday (March 6) when he was defending homosexuality. Christian News Network reports the Vice President was speaking at the Human Rights Campaign’s annual spring conference when he used the Lord’s name in vain while disagreeing with comments Dr. Ben Carson made last week.

As previously reported, Carson stated his belief that homosexuality was a choice in a recent CNN interview. He used prison as an example to demonstrate his point saying,  “A lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight—and when they come out, they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”

He later apologized for his comments, explaining that he does not believe in gay marriage for religious reasons but supports states’ rights to legal same-sex marriage if the state wants to do so.

“I support civil unions for gay couples, and I have done so for many years. I support the right of individual states to sanction gay marriage, and I support the right of individual states to deny gay marriage in their respective jurisdictions,” Carson wrote on his Facebook page.
Biden argued that Carson’s comments were bigotry, and blasphemed the name of God in the process.

“Every ridiculous assertion from Dr. Carson on—I mean, ridiculous. I mean, Jesus, God,” he said. “Oh God. I mean, it’s kind of hard to fathom, isn’t it?”

The Vice President continued, “We’re never going to be able to eliminate the bigots. They’re a small percentage of the population. They’ll continue to be vocal,” Biden said. “But make one thing absolutely clear, folks, they are an incredibly smaller and smaller minority. This country is changing.”

Star Goalkeeper Tim Howard Says Christ is ‘Most Important Thing’ in His Life

Americans can not stop talking about Tim Howard after the Tuesday’s World Cup match against Belgium. Despite the heartbreaking loss, the star goalkeeper kept hopes alive making a record-breaking 16 saves throughout the game. But it seems that Howard is not just a world-renown soccer player; he is also a faithful Christian.

In an interview with Campus Crusade for Christ, Howard said, “The most important thing in my life is Christ. He’s more important to me than winning or losing or whether I’m playing or not. Everything else is just a bonus. All praise be to God.”

While Howard played for Manchester United, he assisted with a church youth group. “The best time for me is when I see a breakthrough in them. To see them get a grasp of what God and Christ really mean,” he said.
In an article for Athletes in Action, Howard wrote of the peace his faith gives him.

“Today, I am blessed to be living a dream. And yet, if it all went away tomorrow, I know I would still have peace. That probably sounds crazy to most people, but that’s the kind of peace Christ gives. It is rooted in His love, and it surpasses all understanding. You can experience this same sense of love and peace, too. All you have to do is ask for it.”
