Gospel music minister Funmi Praise follows the release of “Lifter” (audio & video) up in quick succession with the release of the video for the wave-making single “Mosope.”
The mid-tempo groove which is a mixture of Western Contemporary sound with Afropop elements was released in December of 2018, it caught on and enjoyed rave reviews on several platforms and individuals.
The colourful video with a strong theme of gratitude depicts this prevailing message in its choice of setting, tone and mood as well.

The sonorous Gospel music minister, Worship and Praise Leader Funmi Praise is back with an amazing new single titled “Lifter”, off her forthcoming album “Connected”.
“Lifter” is a gift from Funmi Praise as she celebrates her 40th birthday, it is quite an apt one-word-summary of her gratitude, expressed in the praise of the Almighty. The single is complemented with an official video.
The single which is a mid-tempo Afro-tropical vibe is filled with catchphrases which summarizes the miraculous wonders of the Most High God in the life of the singer… and what better time to pour out such eulogies than when celebrating such a milestone!
It is the 3rd single released from the forthcoming album. Funmi Praise has also hinted that the video for the recently released wave-making single “Mosope” is on the way as well. She released “Nobody” which was complemented with a lyrics video in February 2018. This was followed up with the beautiful “Mosope” in December. As we prep for the release of the album, Funmi Praise presents us with an eulogy titled “Lifter.”

Early Sunday morning in January 2015…
She opened her eyes and beheld another beautiful day, ringing in her head was this new song she just recorded. A sudden burst of emotion; a heart full of gratitude, she knew she had to express it somehow.
“Ohun gbogbo lo le se… Ohun gbogbo lo le se…” Funmi Praise sang as she prep for Sunday service.
How deep the father’s love for a child, she thought to herself. How deep God ‘s love for us that He gave up His only child and through Him manifested His glory and power in mortal men!
She remembered that same power broke the chain of bareness in her life. Even when the doctors said there was a growth in her tube that needed surgery before she can conceive, the God of all possibilities healed her.
Today, Funmi Praise is a joyful mother of children, a wife to a loving husband and a testimony to us that with God, there is no impossibility!
“Ohun Gbogbo (Everything)” was produced by Mr Wols [@Soundhook]. The video to the single will be released in March 2015.
In anticipation of the April 16th (Funmi’s birthday) release of Funmi Praise‘s video – “Melo” – featuring Eben, we present to you the video snippet to give you a taste of what to expect. The video was directed by Gbenga Salu and has cameos by Ebele the Flutist, Gbenga Oke, Abere, Kome Jones and XstarJustice.
