Gospel music minister Chris Shalom returns with the Wordbreed Worship Group for the June 2020 edition of the Wordbreed Worship Service tagged “Set Apart.”
At a time when the world seems to persistently move from one challenge to the other, there is a need for the children of God to take their rightful place. The world is yearning for a silver lining, the forceful right word, a glimmer of hope, and we are looking everywhere except the one and only right place.
There is an urgency therefore, for the sons of God to manifest, those who have been set apart, made holy and righteous, consecrated for such a time as this. Those who will save many and raise up an altar that the knowledge of the glory of God may cover the earth like water covers the sea.
Chris Shalom and the Wordbreed invites you to this altar of alignment and consecration for God’s perfect will through the Wordbreed Worship Service. This edition has been carefully put together by the holy ghost to edify, inspire and launch you unto greater works.
In May Chris Shalom and the Wordbreed Worship Group had released a special edition of the worship service which was much talked about in the media. The June edition is a follow up, and Chris Shalom had hinted that similar to the previous year, the worship service will be on a monthly basis.

The new single, accompanied with visuals, by Award-winning international Gospel music minister Sammie Okposo is finally out. The song titled “I Thirst For You” is a heartfelt supplication born out of zeal and hunger for God.
More than just a song, it is a statement that expresses the writer’s stand as he takes a position of surrender, inviting the Supreme One to conquer him. What better time to express this deep longing of the heart than when you are celebrating the day God breathe his life into you.
As Sammie Okposo celebrates his birthday today, the 30th of May, 2020, The award winning Gospel music minister pours out his heart desire, saying what he wants, thirst and hungers for, more than the gains of the world, is Jesus!
A soul stirring rendition that infuses Urban Pop/Rock elements into contemporary worship music, to birth a masterpiece for the place of personal or collective alter. The tone of the song does not in anyway compromise its title. You can literally feel the thirst and hunger for God, in both Sammie Okposo’s voice and the background vocals. The mood of the simple, yet spectacular visual also support the thematic preoccupation.
“I Thirst For You” is Sammie Okposo’s 5th release for the year 2020. Sammie Okposo who have defiled the global pandemic to raise an alter to God through his releases in the season had earlier said that “there is a need to fill the atmosphere with worship.” In this light, we have witnessed amazing critically acclaimed singles such as “I Have Never Seen God Change,” “Skaataa Dance,” “Nigerian Worship Medley” and the recently released praise single “Nobody Can” which immediately shot up to the top of iTunes Nigeria Chart and remained on the chart for 3 days, upon release.

Tabby Bukar, “You are everything” crooner, is out with a double audio and double video release titled – Grace and Jehovah Tsidkenu. For Tabby Bukar, singing God’s praise is all she is created for and doing this can never be in excess or enough.
“Grace” is the most important concept in the Bible, Christianity, and the world. It is most clearly expressed in the promises of God revealed in Scripture and embodied in Jesus Christ. That grace is all that is needed to survive the hurdles of life and freely we can request for this grace as it is part of our heritage in Christ Jesus. This is exactly what Tabby Bukar tries to express in this spirit-filled song.
…and a king shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgement and justice in the earth. In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is the name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS” (Jeremiah 23:5-6). Whenever we call on that name we are saved and judgement is executed. Tabby Bukar calls this name in praise and adoration to God in this lovely sound. Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord our Righteousness) is a song with a blend of English and Hausa language and highly recommended as your tool of praise to God Almighty.
